online Master of Laws (LL.M.) program with an
optional Business Law Certificate to specialize
your degree. The Business Law Certificate
is also available online as a standalone
program for those wishing to supplement their
experience without earning a full degree.

Online Master of Laws (LL.M.)
The online LL.M. program is for legal
professionals who have earned their first law
degree outside of the United States (U.S.) and
want to gain knowledge of theU.S. legal system
to be able to practice law on a global scale.
This program allows practicing professionals
an opportunity to expand their legal knowledge
from anywhere with an internet connection on
an innovative, online learning platform.
Online Business Law Certificate
Earning the Business Law Certificate as a
standalone credential or to focus your LL.M.
degree can increase a student’s marketability
with top multinational employers looking for
this unique specialization. This certificate is
available to both U.S. and international legal
professionals. To earn the certificate, students
will study a rigorous curriculum that exposes
them to the legal and business issues that
practitioners encounter regularly.
SUMMER LAW & ENGLISH
PROGRAM
In addition to the curriculum provided here, USC
Gould also provides an optional on-campus
Summer Law & English Program for foreign-
trained legal professionals who would like the
opportunity to learn about the U.S. legal system
while improving their English abilities.
This program also allows students to gain full
access to excellent campus facilities at USC
and to spend the summer in the dynamic
cultural environment of sunny Los Angeles !

• First law degree (LL.B.) or equivalent outside of
the United States (LL.M. only)
• Official transcripts from all universities attended
• Personal statement
• 2 letters of recommendation
• TOEFL or IELTS score (international students
only)
