PROGRAMS
The LLM in Dispute Resolution is a 26-
unit program covering topics in negotiation,
mediation, and arbitration. Students can
choose to take general electives or specialize
in a variety of areas while taking required
courses to sit for the California or New York
bar exam.

Pepperdine-Heidelberg Collaborative
Starting fall 2014, Pepperdine partnered with
Heidelberg University Law School in Germany
to preapprove courses for the LLM in Dispute
Resolution program through the Pepperdine-
Heidelberg Collaborative. Students in this
program can transfer up to eight units from
Heidelberg University and only spend one
semester of residence in Malibu, California.
The Nashville Program
Students can now work toward an LLM in
Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University
with courses available in Nashville, Tennessee.
Designed for professionals working on the
East Coast, the Nashville Program allows
students to take up to 12 units in Nashville in
two-weekend-intensive courses.

Pepperdine offers seven libraries across
Southern California, including the School of
Law’s Jerene Appleby Harnish Law Library,

Pepperdine University, there are many
options for getting around Malibu and Los
Angeles, and to and from local airports.
