OVERVIEW
Founded when partners of Spain’s biggest
national and international law firms met to
discuss the creationof aneducational institution
exclusively dedicated to judicial training of the
highest level, ISDE is an academic institution
born from the heart of advocacy.
The partners felt the Spanish market needed
an educational center that developed
professionals and licensed lawyers capable
of joining leading firms with enough practical
education and experience to contribute and
thrive from the outset.
Since its inception, ISDE (Instituto Superior de
Derecho y Economía) has strived to provide
the highest quality legal training, both within
Spain and beyond. ISDE has more programs
in the global ranking of LLMs than any other
institution.
To date, over 25,000 students from more than
40 countries have graduated from ISDE’s
programs, and with a network of over 200
firms throughout the world, ISDE’s influence
and prestige continue to grow.
ELIGIBILITY
You are strongly encouraged to submit your
application as early as possible to ensure it
is reviewed before the program has reached
capacity.
Applicants for the ISDE companion degree
program from outside the US who will need
to apply for a visa to enroll in the program are
encouraged to apply by July 1, and to consult
with the Office of Enrollment Management

PROGRAMS
ISDE & Columbia University Masters in
Sports Law and Sports Management
:
This companion program is the only offering
in the market created with an external industry
perspective. Qualified students will earn two
professional degrees – Columbia’s market-
leading Master of Science (MSc) in Sports
Management and ISDE’s innovative Master in
Global Sports Law – over the course of 12months
of intensive classroomstudy in NewYork City, and
another four to six months of hands-on internship
experience with a leading sports organization in
the United States, Europe or elsewhere.
LL.M. in International Law, Foreign Trade
& International Relations (Madrid)
:
This Master has been developed for recent
graduates in Law, lawyers who want to
improve their law knowledge and practice in
an increasing global economy scenario and
other persons with interest in developing their
career in the International Law framework.
LL.M. in International Sport Law (Madrid)
:
The Students of this program will travel
to Cambridge to receive classes from the
best sport law specialists from the United
Kingdom, in Wolfson College of the University
of Cambridge. They will have the chance to
know from the inside the organization of an
English Football Club by visiting one.
